Special Speaker - Save the Date!
Rick Wright, a native of southeast Nebraska, will be the special speaker this year. Rick has lived and worked in many different places in the United States as a professor at the University of Illinois, Princeton University, and Fordham University. Rick’s talk will be celebrating John James Audubon’s voyage up the Missouri River 175 years ago. What were Audubon’s accomplishments on this expedition as he traveled past modern-day Bellevue?
This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by ASO and Fontenelle Forest. A copy of John James Audubon’s book “The Birds of America” will be won by one lucky person.
